Basic settings
Your appliance has various basic settings, which are preset at
the factory. You can change the basic settings as you require.
If you want to cancel all the changes, you can restore the
factory settings.
The appliance must be switched off and controls must not be
locked.
1.
If necessary, turn the operating mode selector to the
Û
position and click in place to turn off the appliance.
2.
Press and hold the
±
info button until "Select language“
appears in the text display.
3.
Press the
±
button repeatedly until the desired basic setting is
displayed (e.g. “Audible signal off“).
4.
Use the temperature selector to change the basic setting
(e.g. to “Audible signal duration 2 minutes“).
5.
Press and hold the
±
info button for 3 seconds.
The change is saved.
You can change the following basic settings:
Automatic safety cut-out
The automatic safety cut-out is only activated if you have not
made any settings on your appliance for a prolonged period.
The length of time after which your appliance switches itself off
depends on the settings that you make.
