How to Obtain User Arbitrary Correction Data
Fill the camera field of view with a uniform white object. This will be used to
obtain user arbitrary correction data. When using a lens, both the lens and
illumination shading will be corrected at the same time; however to avoid
non-uniformities in the white object from affecting the correction, be sure to
defocus the lens.
Figure 4-8-2 Pixel Correction Registers (image from GigEGrab)
Write “1” to the PixelCorrectDataSave register (in the included viewer software
click “Execute()” then press the Enter key), and the User Arbitrary Correction
Data will be written to the Flash Memory.
Next, input the PixelCorrectSetLevel, and set PixelCorrectSetMode to UserWhite
to apply the User Arbitrary Correction Data.
Notes:
1)
The above PixelCorrectSetLevel is a target value from 0-1023
2)
The User Correction target value should be slightly higher than the
obtained white data in order to output the full range possible.
