In 8 bit mode, values from 0 to 255 are output; in 10-bit mode values from 0 to 1023,
and in 12-bit mode values from 0 to 4095. On each line the value of pixel 0 increases,
and the pattern repeats in a loop.
The Width, Height and OffsetX registers affect the Test Pattern output.
Depending on the Height value, the test pattern may or may not move.
In 8-bit mode the pattern is fixed when the Height register value is a multiple of
256.
In 10-bit mode the pattern is fixed when the Height register value is a multiple of
1024.
In 12-bit mode the pattern is fixed when the Height register value is a multiple of
4096.
