Device Manager
[Functions]
Automatically detects LAN terminal information and displays it on the device management screen. (Maximum 100
units)
Information to be displayed are MAC address, IP address, related information such as OS, wired/wireless
classification of the detected terminal. Wired is a terminal connected to the LAN port of this product, and wireless
refers to the terminal belonging to this product by wireless LAN.
For each terminal, arbitrary comment for terminal identification, mail address of terminal user, necessary mail
notification and necessary statistical information collection for each terminal can be set. Information of the set
terminal is saved in Flash ROM
Any device can be registered.
For device management, use the MAC address and IP address as management method.
By using an IP address, the user can respond to the following:
Devices can be managed per IP address, such as when using fixed IP addresses on the network.
The device management method should be selected at the beginning of the operation of the product. See Section
5.9.3 for the instructions on how to set it up.
[Timing of update of terminal information]
This product detects communication with the WAN of the wired LAN port or the terminal connected to the wireless
LAN and displays it on the device management screen.
When the device management screen in the Web setting is opened, it is updated to the latest terminal information.
[Collect statistics for each terminal]
By setting statistical information collection targets for each terminal, the following information can be used to easily
understand the potential threat risk.

When the device management method is changed from MAC address (initial value) to IP address, the stored
statistical information is cleared. Also, at this time, restart the device.
The IP address managed by this product is an IPv4 address. It does not count IPv6 traffic when operating based
on IP address.
