When the edge of the memory module pops up and is at approximately a 60 degree
angle, pull it from the socket.
Installing a Memory Module
Follow these steps to replace a memory module.
1.
Locate the connectors and alignment notch on the new memory module.
2.
Locate the memory module connector. Hold the memory module at a 45-degree
angle and align the memory module contacts with the socket in the system. Push
the connector into the socket.
3.
Press down on the edge of the memory module opposite the contacts until the
locking tabs on the sides snap into place, securing the module.
