NEC Storage S2300
Follow the procedure below to connect your NEC Storage S2300:
n
Connect the disk array controller unit (A) to the host
system (C) using two Fibre Channel (LC-LC) cables.
n
Connect the disk array controller unit to the disk
enclosure (B) using two Fibre Channel (HSSDC) cables
and two diagnosis cables.
n
Connect the Ethernet cable to the LAN connector.
n
Install power cords between the input receptacles on the
rear of the units and AC wall outlets.
The figure below shows how to connect an NEC Storage S2300 disk
array unit to a host system and to an additional disk enclosure
(D) .
