NOTE
After you’ve completed making a backup
diskette of all system drivers, you can use the
“Delete Image” option in the DDC to remove the
drivers from your system.
NEC WARRANTY/NON-WARRANTY REPAIR SERVICE
Before you call for repair service, see the previous sections
in this chapter to determine if you can solve the problem
yourself, within your company, or through your NEC
authorized dealer.
Direct assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. Call the Customer Service Response Center at 1-800-
632-4525 for the following support:
Preinstalled software — toll-free phone support for 90
days from your first phone call.
After the initial 90 days, get preinstalled software sup-
port for a fee.
System hardware — toll-free phone support for one year
after the date of purchase (standard warranty).
For hardware support after the 1 year warranty, get
system hardware support for a fee.
Before calling, please have ready your system name, model
number, serial number, and purchase date. Also have ready
as much information as possible about the problem you are
having, including any message errors that occurred.
