USING EXTERNAL OPTIONS
The back and sides of your NEC Versa 6200 Series notebook provide
industry-standard connectors so that you can integrate the following.
External monitor
Printers (parallel and serial)
External keyboard
External mouse
External bar code scanner
External television connection
External audio options.
In addition, NEC offers the following optional equipment developed to work
specifically with your NEC Versa.
NEC Docking Station 6000 Plus
NEC Versa PortBar 6000
NEC Versa MiniDock 6000
NEC Versa 6000 DC car adapter
PowerXtender Airplane and Auto adapter.

External Monitor
You can add a standard external monitor to your NEC Versa. You need a
display signal cable (usually provided with the monitor). One end of the ca-
ble must have a 15-pin connector for the system.
Follow these steps to connect an external monitor to your NEC Versa.

Check that the NEC Versa is powered off and the monitor power switch
is turned off.
