If there is no operator intervention within 30 seconds* of the
error being signaled, the print head carriage returns to its
rest position. ** To return the print head carriage to the error
indication, press Install Cartridge .
* 60 seconds, if you are using a monochrome print head
** The print head carriage will not return to its rest
position if there is no print head inserted or if this is not
inserted correctly.
Once you have corrected the error condition, press Install
Cartridge to return the print head carriage to its rest
position, so that the printer can resume operating.

Print head replacement
