Battery Removal
Use the following procedure to remove the battery.
1.
Remove the top cover and 3 1/2-inch drive bracket as previously described.
2.
Locate the battery socket on the system board (see Figure Section 5-17).
3.
Lift the battery spring clip and remove the battery (see Figure Section 5-18).
When replacing the battery, be sure that the positive side is facing up. Run the
Setup utility (see Section 2) to set the time, date, etc.
