Security Menu
Choose the Security menu by selecting Security in the legend bar on the
Main menu screen. Other Security menu options are available by selecting
submenus.
Use the arrow keys to select one of the Security menu options and press
Enter
to select a submenu. Items with grayed-out text are not available.
Explanations of each Security menu item are in the following table.

Supervisor Password Is
Clear, Set
Status only, user cannot modify. Supervisor
password controls access to the BIOS Setup
Utility.
User Password Is
Clear, Set
Status only, user cannot modify. User
password controls access to the system at

Set Supervisor Password
Press Enter to access.
Use this field to set or change the supervisor
password. Press Enter to bring up a dialog
box where the password can be entered and
confirmed.
Set User Password
Press Enter to access.
Use this field to set or change the user
password. Press Enter to bring up a dialog
box where the password can be entered and
confirmed.
