Installing or Removing Random Access Memory
The DIMM (Dual Inline Memory Module) is installed in a DIMM socket on the
motherboard installed in the server.
The motherboard contains four sockets in which DIMMs are installed. A 256 MB
DIMM is normally installed in DIMM #1 (A). The DIMMs normally installed may be
replaced.
DIMMs are installed on the sockets in the ascending order of DIMM socket numbers.
A = DIMM group #1
B = DIMM group #2
C = DIMM group #3
D = DIMM group #4
Up to 4GB (1GB × 4) of memory can be added.
