Installation of the light module
Replacing the notch filter kit
(for the NP-18LU01 light module)
Upon shipment from the factory, the notch filter kit (NFK-G24) for the NP-24LU01 and NP-20LU01 light modules is installed on the
main unit. When using the main unit in combination with the NP-18LU01 light module, replace the notch filter kit with the NFK-G18
that is included with the main unit.
CAUTION
• Before replacing the notch filter, turn off the power, wait for the cooling fans to come to a complete stop, turn off the projector's
power switch and the light source's power switch, shut off the AC power, then check to make sure that the main unit has cooled
down sufficiently. Removing the notch filter kit while the unit is operating may cause burns or electric shock when inside parts
are touched.
• Replace the notch filter kit in a place with little dust. Also be careful not to touch the filter or to get dust or the like on it.
Notch filter cover
1 Remove the notch filter cover.
(1) Turn the screw counterclockwise until it turns freely,
then pull and open.
The screw does not come off.
(2) Lift the notch filter cover upward and remove it.
