Config management with text files
We recommend that you display settings on the console screen by using the show startup-config or show
running-config command and save them to a log file.
If you require any of these settings later, you can copy the necessary data from this text file and paste it to
the console screen to enter it directly as commands, and depending on the communication software used,
you can even send the text file directly to the In-Skin Router.
You can also write a text file as startup config, using the TFTP client function of the In-Skin Router.
NOTE:
If writing a text file as the startup config for the In-Skin Router using the TFTP client function,
make sure that the text file contains only ASCII characters (not including control characters).
