Connecting a RAID controller (N8103-149) and an extra 2.5-inch HDD cage (N8154-56F)
When a RAID controller (N8103-149) is installed and an extra 2.5-inch HDD cage (N8154-56F) is
connected, dedicated cables (K410-277(00) and K410-287(00)) are required. Do not use the cable that
comes with the extra 2.5-inch HDD cage (N8154-56F).
Install the hard disk drives sequentially starting from the leftmost slot when viewed from the front.

About RAID LED cables
The DISK access LED on the front of the equipment shows the access status of hard disk drives that are
connected to a RAID controller. To display this status, connect the LED cable that comes with the optional
cable K410-277(00).
Connect the LED connector on the motherboard to the connector on the RAID controller.
See the figures below and connect the LED cable to the LED connector of the motherboard.
