9. Put the heat sink on the processor and fix the heat sink with four screws.
Temporarily tighten the four screws diagonally, then tighten them securely.
Make sure that the screw aligns with the screw hole. If not, the screw may damage the motherboard.
Important
Use the heat sink that comes with your server, when you install the CPU1
(Basic).
Need the additional heat sink (N8101-609F), when you install the CPU2
(Optional).
Note
Make sure the location to put the heat sink.
10. Make sure that the heat sink is installed on a level with the motherboard.
Note
If the heat sink is not level, remove it, and then install it again.
The following probably causes the heat sink not to be level:
– The CPU is not positioned correctly.
– All screws are not completely tightened.
Do not move the secured heat sink.
