Upgrading Your Tape Blade

Setting the Data Cartridge 

IMPORTANT:

As the data cartridge to be set in the magazine, use 

 

„

 

While setting the data cartridge, do not turn off the server. This may 
cause a malfunction or the damage data. 

 

1. 

Ensure that the Tape Blade is powered on. 

Ensure that the write-protect switch is properly set.

 

2. 

Open the cartridge door on the front of the Tape Blade. 

 

 

 

3. 

Grasp the cartridge so that the write-protect switch faces you.
