With a screw that comes with the CPU blade, fix the N8403-012 front panel to the CPU blade.
Warning
The server and adapter contain projecting components. Be careful
not to damage them by attaching the adapter, and not to pinch or
hurt your fingers.

Insert the CPU blade into the Blade Server Assemble Unit. See Chapter 4 “Installing driver and
setting up adapter” on page 44 for changing BIOS settings and setting up the driver.
3 Network cable connection
Connect a network cable (twisted pair cable) connector to N8403-012 adapter’s LAN port.
Twisted pair cable types that you can use for this product are listed by communication grades.
Communication grade Twisted pair cable specifications
10Base-T CAT 3 or better
100Base-TX CAT 5 or better
1000Base-T CAT 5e or better
* For twisted pair cable, use 4-pair cables.
The twisted pair cable can be
up to 100 meters.
