7 Functionality explained
7.1 Set Time
The SensorMATe contains a real time clock which can be used to allow for the time
scheduling of any of the sensor solutions being monitored. It automatically compensates
for Daylight Saving Time (DST).
The time is adjusted from within the
“Settings”
menu by navigating to the
“Set Time”
area
and following the on screen prompts.
The time will not need re-entering if the unit is put into a
“Standby”
condition, however
the unit will require the time to be entered upon battery failure or replacement action.
Note:
The unit can still be configured for use without entering either the date or time into
the unit if constant monitoring of a sensor is required.
7.2 Set Date
The SensorMATe has the capability to have the correct date programmed into the unit. It
will then automatically compensate for leap years. Having the correct date inserted into
the unit will also ensure that the automatic compensation for Daylight Saving Time (DST)
facility works correctly.
The date can be adjusted at any time from within the
“Settings”
menu by navigating to
the
“Set Date”
area and following the on screen prompts.
The date will not need re-entering if the unit is put into a
“Standby”
condition, however
the unit will require the date to be entered upon battery failure or replacement action.
Note:
The unit can still be configured for use without entering a date into the unit if the
constant monitoring of a sensor is desired.
