The default settings are:

Operating Mode: Independent Inputs.
o
LH (RJ12) Socket used with paper thin bed occupancy solutions.
o
RH (RJ10) Socket used with Enuresis sensing mat.
7.4 Left and Right Input Configuration
The SensorMATe can have two individual sensors connected to and continuously
monitored using the RJ10/22 (RH socket) and RJ12 (LH Socket) located on the top of
the product. The RJ12 Socket is a dedicated socket which can be used with Possum
proprietary products such as the paper thin molded capacitive sensor module (Part
number 034-893).
The RH socket (RJ10/22) allows sensors which have volt free contacts between either
pins 1 and 4 or 2 and 3 of the connector to be plugged directly into the SensorMATe.
The SensorMATe can be configured to raise alarms from either
“Normally Closed (N/C)”
or
“Normally Open (N/O)”
contacts. It also has the capability to carry out resistive
measurements which can be used to monitor for enuresis (bedwetting) occurrences
using special mats.

The
“Configure LH Input”
or
“Configure RH Input”
settings can be programmed
independently of each other. The configuration options that are available are:
7.4.1 Input
This requires correct configuration for the type of sensor plugged into the respective
socket and is selectable between:
•
NormOpen (1&4) - Normally open sensor device connected between pins 1 and 4
of the RJ22 plug or pins 2 and 5 of a RJ12 connector.
•
NormOpen (2&3) - Normally open sensor device connected between pins 2 and 3
of the RJ22 plug or pins 3 and 4 of a RJ12 connector.
•
Enuresis – Direct connection of an enuresis mat using cable (Pt no 034-859)
plugged into the RH input socket.
•
NormClosed (1&4) - Normally closed sensor device connected between pins 1 and
4 of the RJ22 plug or pins 2 and 5 of a RJ12 connector.
