set-passwd
The console requires the user to enter a password in order to log in, preventing
unauthorized access. The set-passwd command allows the user to change the
console password. The system first prompts the user for the original password.
Then the user is asked to input a new password, and then type it again for veri-
fication. At no time are any of the passwords echoed back to the user.
If the user enters the old password incorrectly or fails to verify the new pass-
word correctly, the password will not be changed.
