Rewinding the Antenna

Hold the tool and antenna 

stationary. 
Replace the antenna 

retainer, and remove the 

winding tool. 

Insert the tool and antenna 

into the round open space 

in the back of the top cap. 
Continuously turn the tool 

clockwise to spool the 

antenna until the retainer 

can be replaced.

How to install batteries

Unscrew two screws

on top cap

Tighten screws just 

past point of resistance

Do not overtighten

Insert two batteries

The Nautilus GPS uses CR123 3V batteries.

The batteries should be replaced per the battery vendor's expiry 

date as printed on the batteries and recorded on the back label 

or after TEST mode battery change notice (alternating RED and 

YELLOW LED).

 

Replacing the batteries requires a Philips #1 head screw driver 

and a clean, lint-free surface. Do not overtighten screws.

through the slot of the 

rewinding tool.
