Troubleshooting
TROUBLESHOOTING TOOLS
Following is the procedures of handling the problems related to the CCIM, which includes
receiving the complaints, dispatching a technician to the branch, verifying the problem,
inspecting the machine, and taking proper actions.
TROUBLE VERIFICATION
1. Receiving the Reports on the Problems from the branch personnel
Record when the problem has occurred and what problem it is, and first check the
frequency of the occurrence during the previous week and reoccurrence of the same
problem. It is important to get the detailed transaction flow information at the time when the
trouble occurred, which can be very useful for resolving the problem.
2. FPGA LED on the Controller Board
If the LED (Silk Name: LED1 ) on the bottom right of the Controller Board is blinking, it is
normal.
3. Power LED on the Controller Board
If the LED (Silk Name: LED4 ) on the bottom right of the Controller Board is ON, it is normal.
4. The Number in the segments of the Controller Board
Take the note of the figure displayed on the two of the segments on the bottom right side of
the Controller Board.
5. Error Code in the Supervisor Screen
Go to the Supervisor Screen through the Rear Operator Panel and check the error code.
Using the Error Code List, identify the problem area and take basic actions at the branch.
6. Acquire and store Software Journal file & Trace file
