Bottom Ac Entry
For bottom entry, ac wiring enters the transmitter cabinet through the floor of the transmitter (see
Figure 1.5.3 ). Wires must be routed through a pre-planned cable trench in the transmitter room floor.
Wires must fit through a 1.9-inch x 1.9-inch opening in the bottom of the cabinet and a 1-3/8 inch
diameter hole inside the cabinet. For multi-wire conductors, you may need to strip back the cable’s
outer jacket by at least 40 inches to allow individual conductors to pass through the bottom entry holes
(see
Figure 1.5.2 on page 1.5.5 ) and connect to the power transformer terminals.
