Clearances
The required minimum clearances for the transmitter cabinet are 1.2 m (4.0 feet) at the front and rear to
allow for the swing of the front and rear doors and 1.2 m (4.0 feet) on top of the cabinet to allow access
for wiring and RF feedline installation. No side clearances are required.
Check clearances to confirm you will be able to open both doors. The front door is hinged on the left (as
viewed from the front).The rear door is hinged on the left (as viewed from the rear).
Also consider access to the rear of the transmitter during installation and servicing, and access to the
front of the transmitter during power module replacement. You must allow space to open the front door
and slide out any of the power modules. These modules slide straight in and out of the shelf unit in the
front of the transmitter.
