Maintenance
Maintenance
There is no routine maintenance required for the V Series Amplifier other than normal
periodic checks for unusual wear, cable abrasion, and routine cleaning.
Cleaning
Perform cleaning as needed.
Main system modules and Event pushbutton
Electric Shock Hazard. Before cleaning the AC power supply or any AC line
powered equipment, always turn off the power and disconnect the power cord from the AC
power supply.
Do not autoclave or pressure sterilize any of the modules.
Do not soak or immerse the modules in any liquid.
Do not gas sterilize the modules.
Do not use petroleum based or acetone solutions, or other harsh solvents to clean the
modules.
To clean the modules and interconnect cables, use a soft cloth dampened with mild soap
and water solution. To disinfect the modules use a 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Be
sure
that
the
components
are
unplugged
before
cleaning
and
that
the
modules
are
completely
dry
before
use.
Electrodes
Refer to the cleaning instructions supplied with the electrodes for details on cleaning,
disinfection, and/or sterilization.
