Following are five possible connection configurations for the Nicolet Cortical
Stimulator option:
1. OR Probe Biphasic Mode
2. OR Probe Biphasic Mode - Nicolet Desktop
3. Electrode Switching Mode - Nicolet Desktop
4. Electrode Switching Mode - Nicolet Laptop
5. Electrode Switching Mode - Nicolet Panel PC

In this configuration, the Stimulus Control Unit (SCU) is an independent device
and does not require the Nicolet application. EEG data is not collected in this
configuration. In this configuration, you set up stimulus parameters and control
delivery of stimulus from the Stimulator Control Unit (SCU) control panel.
Stimulus to the patient is delivered from the Stimulus Control Unit (SCU) via a
hand held bipolar probe.
