Adjusting the Natus ErgoJust and Natus ErgoJust ICU cart components
The Natus ErgoJust cart work surface, keyboard and monitor may be adjusted to use in sitting or
standing positions. Adjust the height of these components to a comfortable position to minimize
strain on the arms, wrists, neck and eyes. The monitor and keyboard tray (ErgoJust cart only) can
further be tilted forward and backward according to individual user preference.
It is recommended that you first adjust the keyboard tray to desired position and then the monitor.
NOTE
: Once the cart has been positioned at the desired location, lock all four caster wheels in
place before using it.
Locking/unlocking the
wheels
1. Raise the locking levers (Figure 1) on all four caster wheels to transport the cart.
NOTE:
The left rear caster wheel locking lever is colored blue and has three positions.
•
The
Up
position allows the wheel to roll, but does not allow the wheel to swivel. Use this
position while transporting the cart.
•
The
Center
position allows the wheel to roll and swivel freely.
•
The
Down
position locks the wheel and does not allow the wheel to swivel. Use this
position when at your work destination or the cart is left unattended.
2. Lower the locking levers on all four wheels to lock the cart in place.
Figure 1: Locking/unlocking the caster wheels.
Transporting the cart
1. Push the display monitor down to the lowest position.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the ISO or UPS and secure the cord to the cart.
3. Raise locking levers on all four of the caster wheels (raise the left rear locking lever to the up-
most position, see Figure 1 above) and point the casters in the direction of travel.
4. Use the rear handle to push the cart using both hands.
NOTE:
If there is a photic stimulator mounted on the cart, swivel the arm and secure it close to the
cart pole to avoid damage during transport.
