5. Maintenance

5.1 General information
Please perform the following maintenance
work at least once a month:
°
Clean and grease the axle.
°
Check the wheel sockets and the fixed
plates. Exchange them, if necessary.
°
Readjust the self-securing screws of the
roof fixation. If necessary, exchange them
– for instance, if the hood no longer
remains in the adjusted position although
you set the fixation of the roof to maxi
mum according to section 3.20 on page 23.
°
Check all screw connections. Tighten the
screws, if necessary.
°
Oil all movable parts (springs, hinges).
°
Oil all brake parts (brake pedal, brake bolt).
°
Rid small paint damages of dirt and rust
with fine sandpaper. Afterwards, carefully
apply a new coating layer to the affected
areas with a paint stick from a specialist
shop, according to the instructions.
WARNING! Please note that the stroller needs to be cleaned after every use under certain
environmental conditions (proximity to the ocean, grit, contact with sand, etc.).
Whenever your stroller comes in contact with cleaning agents, please note that the
corresponding parts of the stroller need to be oiled.
Avoid bumping axles or wheels into objects – this prevents the deformation of the frame!
A frame that has been deformed by mechanical force can no longer be used and does not
consitute a guarantee claim.
