WARNING! Check the fixation regularly.
Do not tighten the screw too firmly –
this damages the roof plug-in.
WARNING! Do not put any loads on the roof.
Never carry the seating unit on the roof.
To remove the roof, please proceed as follows:
1. Open the zipper at the end of the roof.
2. Push the gray push button (23) at the plug-in
part of the roof. Pull the plug-in part of the
roof toward the footrest to release the roof
there. Repeat this process on the other side of
the roof.
3. In order to put the roof back on, place the
plug-in part of the roof in the provided
receivers. Afterwards, close the zipper at the
end of the roof.
3.19 Removing the roof
1. First, remove the black protective cap
at the roof hinge on both sides of the
roof.
2. To adjust the fixation of the roof, hold
the nut on the outside of the roof hinge
either with a slotted screwdriver that
you press against an edge of the nut or
with a socket wrench.
3. Turn the screw that is on the inside of
the roof hinge while holding the nut:
°
in clockwise direction to increase the
fixation of the roof (adjusting the roof
will be more difficult).
°
counter-clockwise to release the
fixation of the roof (adjusting the roof
will be easier).
4. Repeat the process on the other side of the
roof. Make sure that the fixation is equally
adjusted on both sides of the roof.
5. Afterwards, reattach the black protective cap.
