LabVIEW RT Programming
This chapter contains specific information about targeting LabVIEW
Real-Time (RT) to the FP-20

module, network options for restricting
access to your module, embedding LabVIEW RT applications on your
module, and launching embedded applications when your module starts up.

Targeting LabVIEW RT to a Platform
You can target LabVIEW RT to your FP-20
xx
or the host PC. When you
select a target platform other than the host PC, the RT Development System
downloads any LabVIEW RT application you subsequently run to the
selected target platform. Refer to Chapter 1,

Targeting LabVIEW RT to the FP-20

When you target LabVIEW RT to your FP-20

, you can run
LabVIEW RT applications on the controller. However, when targeted to
your FP-20

, LabVIEW RT lacks some features found in LabVIEW for
Windows because the controller does not have all the software of a PC.
