PAUSE BETWEEN ON HOLD REMINDER RINGS
You can set the TIME between REMINDER RINGS whenever a call is
placed On Hold (by pressing 2 and hanging up).
Allowable Range
:
01 to 99 seconds
Default Setting is
:
15 seconds

MAXIMUM ON HOLD TIME
You can set the MAXIMUM TIME that a Call will remain On Hold,
regardless of whether the call has been Auto Answered or Manually
placed On Hold.
SLS3 will HANG UP if a call has not been answered or retrieved by this
set time.
This setting is important in case your device inadvertently answers calls
after hours or when the site is unattended.
Allowable Range
: 01 to 99 minutes, or 00 = OFF
Default Setting is
: 05 minutes

ANSWER MACHINE OPERATION
SLS3 is preset for operation with an Answering Machine. This means that
at the end of the After Hours Message, SLS3 will output up to 6 rings to
cause an Answring Machine to Answer if one is connected.
If an Answering Machine is not used with SLS3, this will not cause any
problem other than the fact that SLS3 will take approx 15 seconds to hang
up after it plays the After Hours Message. If you wish, you can disable this
post message ring. See page 19.
