PROGRAMMING NOTES

The procedure for User Parameter Programming is described on pages
18 -19.

Program changes are made by using using ‘touch tone’ keys via a
standard analogue telephone which is connected to the

SLS3

Line Out

port.

The following notes provide important information about the programming
procedure :

1) To enter PROGRAMMING MODE you must turn OFF POWER to
your unit and then switch POWER ON  AGAIN.

2) Using ANY TELEPHONE connected to the Line Out port of

SLS3

PRESS #  as soon as you hear dial tone disappear.

3) You will then hear 3 short ‘beeps’ to confirm you are in programming
mode.

4) Individual Parameter Programming Entries are carried out by
pressing further keys on the attached telephone (see pages 18-19)

5) Your unit will generate 1 short ‘beep’ to confirm acceptance of
command.

6) Your unit will generate 1 long ‘beep’ to advise of an entry error.

7) If 1 long ‘beep’ is detected, your command should be repeated.

8) You can change 1 or More any parameter settings in programming
mode and you can do so in any order.

9) You can exit PROGRAMMING MODE at any time by hanging up.
