DAY TIME ANSWER FACILITY
DAYTIME - AUTOMATIC CALL ATTENDANT
SLS3
can be set to Automatically Answer incoming calls when you
are unable to and then play a specific Greeting Message.
At the completion of the Greeting Message,
SLS3
will then connect
the caller to your On Hold Message.
The caller will remain ON HOLD until ANY TELEPHONE connected to
the line is picked up. The RINGBACK REMINDER FACILITY will briefly
RING all telephone(s) connected direct to the LINE OUT PORT of the
Line Sharer at intervals of 15 seconds to remind you that you have an
Automatically Answered Call On Hold. The time interval between
reminder rings can be changed to suit, or even disabled. See
programming p 14-19.
If you have more than one On Hold Message loaded onto the card, then
SLS3
will play a different On Hold message after the Greeting Message,
for each auto answered caller. See page
ENABLE DAY TIME CALL ATTENDANT
To ENABLE the Automatic Answer facility, you need to program the
RING COUNT BEFORE AUTOMATIC ANSWER facility and set it to a
value between 01 and 19 rings.
SLS3
will then automatically answer calls when you are unable to, as
described above.
The DEFAULT setting is 00 - Which means that
SLS3
will not answer
calls. Refer pages
14-19.
for programming details.
DISABLE DAY TIME CALL ATTENDANT
To DISABLE the Automatic Answer facility, you need to program the
RING COUNT BEFORE AUTOMATIC ANSWER facility and set it to 00
rings.
