Printer
Password
Set
the
passwords
for
accessing
the
following:
• Embedded
Web
Server
(EWS).
• Level
1
(Supervisor)
security
on
control
panel.

2
(Administrator)
security

control
panel.
The
EWS
password
can
have
3
to
12
alphanumeric
characters.
Special
characters
are
not
allowed.
The
control
panel
password
must
contain
3
digits.
Printer
Security
Set
the
minimum
security
level
allowed
to
access
the
following
protected
settings:
• Language
• LCD
brightness/contrast
• Sensor
sensitivity

Labels
Select
the
media
type
‐
Continuous,
Gap
or
Black
Mark
for
printing
all
the
internal
pages
generated
by
the
printer
(i.e.
Configuration
Page,
Network
Settings
Page
and
diagnostic
test
plots).
Sensor
Threshold
Values
Run
a
length
of
labels
(about
1m
or
40”)
to
record
the
readings
of
the
gap/mark
sensor
without
actually
printing.
The
readings
are
analyzed
to
determine
if
there
is
sufficient
contrast
for
the
printer
to
reliably
detect
the
inter
‐
label
gap
or
black
mark.
If
necessary,
you
can
then
adjust
the
threshold
value
of
the
sensor
to
improve
detection,
especially
when
printing
on
non
‐
rectangular
label
stock.

Set
a
threshold
value
for
the
gap
or
black
mark
sensor,
based
on
the
above
analysis.
Click
Submit
to
send
the
new
value
to
the
printer.
