Installation of mounting rail
Secure installation on mounting rail in accordance with DIN EN 60715:
Observe the maximum permissible load-bearing capacity of the mounting
rail.
Always use clean, rust-free mounting rails to avoid contact problems.

Make sure that heat can dissipate properly from the devices.
Plan in at least 50 mm of clearance above and below the mounted devic-
es.
Install the DIN rail horizontally on a vertical surface so that the devices are
mounted vertically.
Installing and grounding the mounting rail
The mounting rail must be fastened in a way that it is not twisted during
the installation and removal of the device.
Ground the mounting rail so that the device is automatically grounded
when it engages with the mounting rail.
NOTICE
Malfunctions!
A lack of grounding can lead to the switch malfunctioning.
Ground the mounting rail and the switch with a low impedance!

Place the switch on the mounting rail from
above.
The top retention slot of the device must in-
terlock with the top edge of the mounting
rail.

Push the switch in the direction of the
mounting surface from the front.
The switch must engage audibly.
Check mounting

Make sure that the switch is securely in
place on the mounting rail.

Check that the tabs are facing upwards,
i.e., are engaged.
