Using as a Scanner
To use your machine as a scanner, first follow the steps of
Installing the printer and scanner driver (see page 5.1-5.2),
and Installing the USB driver (see page 5.2-5.3) if needed.
Scanning a document

Place your documents face down in the document feeder.

There are two ways you can call up the scan function:

Click on the START symbol on the left lower edge of
your screen. Choose the Program menu and select FAX
printer . A sub-menu will appear. Select the Imaging
Software. Choose the command Scan New in the pull
down menu File .

Open the graphics program into which you wish to scan.
Select as source the FAX scanner driver and choose the
command to acquire an image.

The FAX scanner window will open.

Select the desired scan settings.

Click Scan .

Once the scanning procedure is completed, the image of
the document can be stored.
