Note:
The computer’s settings must be in the same subnet range as the router.
The factory default settings for the router are:
IP Address:
192.168.2.1
Subnet Mask:
255.255.255.0

Use the following DNS server addresses.

Enter the IP Address for the
Preferred DNS Server
and click
OK.
Example: 205.171.3.65

Close the
Local Area Properties
screen by clicking
OK

Logging into Web Management Software
The router’s Web Management software allows you to configure the Ethernet interface. To login:
1.
Verify that the Status LED is blinking to indicate that router is ready.
2.
Open a web browser.
3.
Enter the default
Gateway Address
,
http://192.168.2.1.
The Login window displays.
4.
Enter the default
User Name
and
Password
and click
Login
. The default for both is
admin
. The Web
Management displays.
Note:
User name and password are case-sensitive. Change the default password to improve router security.

Use Wizard Setup for basic router configuration. To setup additional features and functions, refer to
Chapter 3,

. In the Web Management Software:
