6.3.6 Spark plug connector – Installation

Preconditions

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

☑

Open protective packing of new spark plug connector only immediately prior to installation.

Spark plug connector – Installa-
tion

Clean sleeve and install new sealing ring in
sleeve of ignition cable.

Fit spark plug connector (5) with ignition
cable (3) on spark plug.

Fit tab washer (6) on cylinder head cov-
er (7).

Tighten screw (4).

Install terminal lug of ignition line (3) with screw and spring washer on ignition coil (1).
