Ensure you are standing securely, espe

Maintain the cutting chain away from the
body.
¾
Hold the tool firmly in both hands. One
hand encloses the handle, the other
hand clasps the forward handle.

Never stand directly under the branch
being cut.
¾
Never stand on a ladder or an unstable
platform.
¾
Always cut branches into pieces.
¾
Never work in dangerous positions in
which you could be hit by falling branch

es or by branches bouncing back up
from the ground.

Do not saw any wood that is under
strain.

Do not saw any shrubs or bushes.
Note
The pole saw is intended for sawing
branches and twigs. It must not be used for
tree felling.

Avoid contacting an object with the tip of
the bar.

Exercise uniform pressure on the tool,
however do not use excess force.
Avoiding kickback, jumping or risk of slipping of
the chainsaw unit
