CAUTION!
Environmental pollution

Chain oil is released into the environ-
ment during operation, therefore, special
biodegradable vegetable oil should be
used as a chain oil.
Attention!
Only operate the tool with sufficient chain oil.
¾
Check the oil volume via the oil level indicator.
Note
The
approximately 60 ml, tank volume is
only sufficient for about 25 min running time.
Fill with chain oil

CAUTION!
Risk of slipping due to spilt oil

Take care not to spill any oil.
¾
Immediately wipe up any spilt oil.
Attention!
¾
Ensure that no dirt gets into the oil tank.
Î
Slowly unscrew the tank cap and take it off

Fill carefully with chain lubricating oil to about
1 cm below the bottom edge of the filler

Î
Replace the tank cap and screw it tight

Note
The oil level can be seen in the oil level
indicator

Check chain lubrication
Î
Check the quantity of oil in the tank.
Î
Start the device.
Î
Hold the chain for a reasonable period about
15 cm above a suitable surface. If the chain lu
-
brication is adequate, the oil sprayed off from the
saw chain leaves a light trail.
Connect the telescopic arm to the chainsaw
unit

Insert the chainsaw unit in the holder of the tele

scopic arm

Attention!
Note the polarity markings of the contacts.

Fully tighten the fastening sleeve

Attach the carrying belt

Shut the belt closure

Suspend the carrying belt

in the intended
attachment.
Note
For safety reasons only carry the device
supported over your shoulder and never
around your neck.
Adjust the carrying belt

Adjust the carrying belt to the desired length. The
attachment hook is at hip height.
Note
In order that you have better control over the
device and so that your arms and back do
not tire too quickly, the carrying belt must
always be used with the device.
Set the working height

Undo the clamping sleeve of the telescopic
arm

Pull the telescopic arms apart, until the required
working height is obtained

Fully retighten the clamping sleeve

Insert the power pack
