BIOS Setup
Security
This section lets you set security passwords to control access to the system at boot
time and/or when entering the BIOS setup program. It also allows you to set virus
protection at hard disk boot sector.
Supervisor Password Is/ User Password Is
It shows the preset supervisor/user password. (read only)
Set Supervisor Password/ Set User Password
Enabling
Supervisor Password
requires a password for entering Setup. The pass-
words are not case sensitive. Pressing <Enter> at either
Set Supervisor Password
or
Set User Password
displays the following message:
Type the password and press <Enter>. Repeat.
Set Supervisor Password
Enter New Password:
Confirm New Password:
