Setting PEF Configurati on
This setting is used to set the Platform Event Filter (PEF) configuration. When
[Enabled ] is selected, t he server will send the event signal to the BM C. Set-
ting options:
Enabled, Disabled

BMC Event Log
Sele ct [En abled] to st ore POST error or initia l mess ages t o the BMC Ev ent
log . If you don ’t wa nt t o st ore POST erro r or initial mess ages to the DMI
Event lo g, select [Disa bled]. When [Cleared] is sele cted, the BMC e vent log
will be cleared at next POST stage. Setting options:
Disabled, Enabled, Cleared

WatchDog TimeOut Acti on
The Wa tch Dog Timer (WDT) is a special hardware device t o monitor if the
computer syste m works normally. If t he sy stem d oes n ot work normally, it
will have some measures to fix up the system. The following actions are avail-
able on expiratio n of the Watch dog Timer:
No Acti on, Hard Reset , Po wer
Down, Power Cycle.
WatchDog Time r Counter
This feature allows users to set t he time in terval to reboot th e computer if a
timeout event occurs. Setting options:
10 Sec, 20 Sec, 30 Sec, 40 Sec.
