Before each attempt to eliminate a fault – turn the chipper off
− wait until the unit is stopped completely
− unplug the mains plug from the socket

zed service plant

Soft or moist material Push and crush material using a dry branch
Cylindrical cutter worn Adjust the chipping board as described in the
section "Chipping Board Setting"; if the cutter is
worn heavily, replace it

Chipping board is not adjusted
properly
Adjust the chipping board. If you experience any
unusual behaviour or noises during operation of
the milling machine, immediately switch off the
machine and contact your service centre. The
cutting plate has probably become worn and
must be replaced.
The appliance is
started, however,
it is blocked at low
load and the motor
protective switch is
tripped
Extension cable is too long or wire
cross section is too small. Socket
too far from the mains supply
connection and supply line cross
section too small
Use extension cable with a minimum cross
sectionof 1.5 mm², the max. length of 25 m, in
the case of a longer cable, with the cross section
of at least 2.5 mm² (for example H07RN-F)
