Broadband
Broadband Connection
‘Waiting for DSL’ is displayed while the Gateway is training. This
should change to ‘Up’ within two minutes.
‘Up’ is displayed when the ADSL line is synched and the PPPoE ses-
sion is established.
‘Down’ indicates inability to establish a connection; possible line fail-
ure.
Line State
Line State connection (Internet) is either Up or Down
Wi-Fi
Status
Your wireless signal may be ‘On’ or ‘Off’.
Network ID (SSID)
This is the name or ID that is displayed to a client scan. The default
SSID for the Gateway is

is the last 3 digits of the
serial number located on the side of the Gateway.
Authentication Type
The type of wireless encryption security in use. May be
