Mass Storage
– allows managing pictures stored in the radio internal flash memory or on the
microSD card via the computer interface without installing any additional application. After
connecting the radio to the computer, the radio is recognized as an additional disk drive with
two folders:
My Pictures
and
My Received Files
. The
My Pictures
folder is created once
the first picture is captured; the
My Received Files
folder is created once the first file is
received. If the radio supports the microSD card, it can enter the Mass Storage Mode only
when the microSD card is correctly installed in the microSD card slot.
•
PEI (Peripheral Equipment Interface)
– enables communication with the radio using ETSI-standarized* protocols. It allows
managing not only pictures, but also radio settings and services. The mode is used to
provide access for external applications.

Group Setup
This sub-menu allows you to set the operation parameters, scanning and my groups folder.
5.11.1
Operations Parameters
When and where to use:
If you want to define the radio mode and the talkgroup at the radio startup,
and when changing modes TMO->DMO and TMO-> Repeater.
Procedure:

. Select one of the following:

TMO
– the radio powers up in TMO mode.
•
DMO
– the radio powers up in DMO mode.
•
Last Selected
– the radio powers up in the mode it was in when last powered down.

Home Group Startup
. Select one of the following:
•
Last Selected
– the radio enters the TMO/DMO talkgroup which was last selected before
power down.
•
Home Group
– the radio enters the Home Group (TMO or DMO) at power up, depending on
the radio mode entered at power up.

HGr TMO->DMO/Rep
. Select one of the following:
•
Last Selected
– when changing modes the radio enters the DMO Talkgroup last selected,
i.e. the DMO Talk Group active last time the Radio was in DMO Mode. If Group Mappings
are configured, they will take precedence and the DMO Talkgroup mapped to the current
TMO Talkgroup is used.
•
Group Mappings
– when changing modes the radio enters the DMO Home Group unless a
Group Mapping is configured. If Group Mappings are configured, they will take precedence
and the DMO Talkgroup mapped to the current TMO Talkgroup is used.
•
Home Group
– when changing modes the radio enters the DMO Home Group, ignoring
possible group mappings.
