Selecting a Target
Once you have selected a
Status Message, you can
select a target by Direct
Entry or Memory Scroll.
•
Direct Entry
1. Press to move
to the target selection.
2. Enter the numeric
radio ID of the
person to whom you are
sending the message.
3. Press .
4. Press PTT to send
the message to the
selected ID.
The ID list is the
same as Call Alert
and Private Con-
versation List.
The
key acts
as a backspace.
Clr
returns to
show you the last
selected radio ID.
The second line
reflects the ID or
alias to whom you
last sent a suc-
cessful Status
Message.
