ing Calls
To make a call from the Recent Calls list with the phone closed:
1.
Press the Smart Key (
.
) to view the Recent Calls list on
your phone’s external display.
2.
Use the volume keys to scroll through the list.
3.
Scroll to the phone number you want to call.
4.
Press the Speaker Key (
t
) to place the call.
5.
Press the Smart Key (
.
)to end the call.
Making a Phone Call Using a Voice Name
If you have created a voice name in Contacts for the number
you want to call, say the voice name into your phone to enter
the number.
1.
With the phone open or closed, press and hold the
Speaker Key (
t
) until a prompt appears telling you to
say the voice name.
2.
Speaking into the microphone, say the voice name
assigned to the number you want to call.
Your phone plays the name back to you.
3.
The call is placed automatically.
Tip: To make a Nextel Direct Connect call from the Recent Calls
list with the phone open or closed, find the Direct Connect
number you want to call and press and hold the Direct
Connect button to place the call.
Tip To stop a phone call from being completed, press
