Section 1B: Your Phone: The Basics

For a quick check of your phone’s battery level, glance at the 
battery charge indicator located on your display screen. If the 
battery charge is getting too low, the phone makes a sound 
and displays a message.

Always use a Nextel-approved or Motorola-approved charger 
or vehicle power adapter to charge your battery.

Using the Charger

1.

Plug the charger into an electrical outlet.

2.

Open the flap covering the accessory connector by 
pulling the tab at the back of your phone.

3.

Plug the other end of the charger into the accessory 
connector.

4.

When your phone displays 

Charge Complete
