Synchronizing Information
To manually synchronize your contacts, calendar and email,
tap
R
Sync
, then tap
Exchange ActiveSync
.
Your phone begins synchronizing your contacts, calendar and
email, if selected. The initial synchronization may take several
minutes depending on the amount of data in your contacts
list, calendar and email on the Exchange 2003 server.
If you have created a sync schedule, your phone
automatically synchronizes to the set schedule.
Device Address Options
Select the radio dial button of one of the
2 options:
Device SMTP Address
- Select if your
notification service is provided by your
wireless carrier. Provide the SMS
address of your phone (for example,
[email protected])
Exchange Provider
- If you select this device
addressing option, you must complete
the following fields:
•
Mobile Phone Number
- Input your mobile
phone number.
•
Mobile Service Centre
- Select the name
of your mobile service provider from
the list provided.
